About this profile
Install this emulator's files
With RetroPie: the installer finds RetroPie and its BIOS folder, then downloads only the files SuperTux reads there and checks each one.
Open a terminal on the device. Or connect from a computer with SSH, a terminal over the network. Paste the line. Press Enter.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Abdess/retrobios/main/install.sh | sh -s -- --emulator supertuxTechnical notes
SuperTux 2, the free platformer. The program is supertux2 and every asset
(images, levels, music, sounds, fonts, scripts) is read through PhysFS from
the data directory: the one given on the command line, else
$SUPERTUX2_DATA_DIR, else the build tree when it holds credits.stxt, else the
installed share directory beside the binary. A data directory that cannot
be mounted is logged and the game has nothing to load.

EmuELEC builds this revision, 1020 commits past the v0.6.3 tag its package comment names, without the data. On first start its run_supertux.sh downloads the v0.6.3 source archive, keeps its data directory as /storage/roms/ports/supertux, renames levels/misc/menu.stl.in and fills its logo name, then runs supertux2 with SUPERTUX2_DATA_DIR pointing there. The data is the v0.6.3 tree, not that of the built revision. ref: EmuELEC packages/sx05re/emuelec-ports/supertux/package.mk:4-9, EmuELEC packages/sx05re/emuelec-ports/supertux/scripts/run_supertux.sh:10-14,45-66
